{San Diego Family Photography~Balboa Park Rose Garden}

I am always humbled by the opportunity to capture each different family that I photograph and this shoot was just so special for so many reasons. I loved collaborating with Michelle on the overall look of this shoot and I think it came together amazingly!
Although she is a busy mom
Michelle is also a professional makeup artist and works with brides to create their perfect wedding look nearly every weekend. Like myself her passion lead her to start her business from scratch and has worked her way to become a highly sought after wedding makeup artist!
Check out the recent work of Lipstick and Luster here @ ~ www.lipstickandluster.com or here on Facebook :)

She works with many wedding photographers and I have
even had the pleasure of her doing the makeup of several of my portrait clients so finally working together was very special! The day of I was so thrilled when these lovely girls arrived in their beautiful dresses and everything came together to create one of my favorite sessions to date!
I hope you enjoy the pictures and the beauty of the special bond between these lovely ladies:)

Lovely ladies dressed in white in front of the white roses... Swoon;)

The girls did amazing, posing like little pros!

Sisters

Sun lighting this shot the girls look angelic!

Again just posing so perfectly, love this shot!

This was the shot we based the location and shoot around and it is just breathtaking!

Same shot in black and white...

Love the slight change with the arms kind of making a heart shape!
This shot is so timeless to me, love that we opted for the pink and red roses for these lovely ladies!

She got so excited to throw the rose petals she took off running! One of my favorite shots for that reason:)

The ballons were such a fun touch!

The lighting in this takes my breath away! Last shot of the day!

{San Diego Family Photography~Coronado Island overlooking Downtown San Diego}

I don't know whether I choose family photography or it choose me but I have been so blessed to meet so many amazing families and capture some very special memories which I am so thankful for.
This shoot, as with each one that I do; becomes part of my life for several weeks while I am pouring over their pictures, selecting their gallery images, and then lastly editing their final selections. Without fail I fall in love with each family and see the beauty of their relationship to each other as a family unit.

 This family choose a great little hidden park located on Coronado Island that overlooks beautiful downtown San Diego that I just love.

With their adorable little baby boy and their spunky little girl we had a great time together climbing trees, picking flowers, and capturing these memories for this sweet family!
All the best to your family and enjoy!

We loved this nearby door and used it in the shoot!

Love this moment with Daddy who he looks just like!

Big Sister and baby Brother;0)

Daddy picked her this flower and she loved it!

This was one of my favorite candids;)

I love it when families become loyal clients and come back year after year. This is the second photo shoot I have done with this sweet and adorable family and I have to say I can always count on a lot of fun and laughs! Their two children are roughly the same ages of my two eldest so I just love seeing these two as they grow:) Another addition will soon be added too as Mom is expecting the 3rd little blessing! This family is so fun and loving and I love how these shots capture those qualities in them. Thank you all so much for your ongoing support and I hope to see you all again next year with the added little one!
This one He is saying... "She is having a baby!"
Family of 4 soon to become family of 5 :)

The lovely couple; AKA Mom and Dad:)

Love this one of this handsome little man:)

And the little Diva...

The girls were laughing so hard at Mr. C doing his shots! Love this Mother Daughter moment:)

I have been so excited to share this photo shoot for so many reasons! One~ I love this family! I have had the pleasure of capturing several very special moments in their lives; a maternity shoot {here}, the birth of that little bundle {here}, and the gathering of their extended family {here}
 Two~ This location was a new and beautiful backdrop for me to shoot at and  I loved scouting it out and finding special spots I had never explored! And Three (My favorite reason) ~This was not a new spot for this lovely couple, this is the spot they were married and exchanged vows 4 years ago! When Kim shared the idea of shooting their and symbolizing the union of their marriage and the growth of their sweet family I just feel in love with the idea! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of so many special and wonderful moments in your life, I cherish each one!
Daddy getting creative with the posing... Love this one!

Goo in all her glory! And yes she is always this happy!
