Amanda is a Point Loma Nazarene Senior and will be graduating in a few short weeks! She and I met on the beautiful campus overlooking the Pacific Ocean to capture these photos to commemorate her time here and also the start of her new journey upon graduation!

I loved working with Amanda with the styling and vision for this photo shoot, she has incredible personal style and I think we got some truly memorable shots of this lovely girl!

We loved this area just on the side of the campus with the light streaming though and the contrast of her cute top!

Loved this shot, so serene and the headband was an element that we spoke about and it just looks stunning I think

Both of these shots taken just feet away, a foliage covered awning over a path and gorgeous tree with sunlight streaming through!

In the columns of the Greek Amphitheater

The Greek Amphitheater is an Iconic Symbol of PLNU and I love how this shot came out!

{Andrew Baldwin ~ Former Bachelor, Philanthropist and Boot Ambassador!}

I had a really fun opportunity this past weekend to do an at home photo shoot with Andrew Baldwin ~ 2007 Bachelor "Officer and a Gentleman" as some of you fans may remember! ♥
Lieutenant Commander Andrew Baldwin M.D. is board-certified in family medicine, and is a U.S. Navy Physician.
Andrew is also an amazing Triathlete, competing in numerous Half-Ironmans and 8 time Ironman finisher. But his latest Philanthropic efforts include his nonprofit organization "The Got Your Back Network" that raises money to support the families of the service men and women who gave their lives while serving their country.
Now he can add 'Boot Ambassador' to his amazing resume! Andy agreed to allow us into his home to capture him with his "Boots On!" in support of the Boot Campaign!

Andrew Baldwin~ Doctor, Triathlete, Philanthropist and Boot Ambassador for the Boot Campaign

He said he hadn't done one of these photo shoots in a while but he was a pro!

Andy was such a great sport, we were laughing at this pose and said might as well make it true to life with the remote in hand watching the game!

This was my favorite shot from the day!

{Make-A-Wish ~ San Diego | Hotel Del Coronado}

One of my favorite things and also the biggest blessing with my photography is when I get a chance to give back. I had the amazing experience to partner with a team of photographers to offer Family Portrait sessions to over 30 Make-A-Wish Families!

Make-A-Wish San Diego set up shop right on the beach in front of the Hotel Del and each family came and was paired with a photographer to complete their 20min mini session!

The day was just an overwhelmingly humbling experience to meet these families and find out some of what their children are facing and also what their 'Wishes' were and if they had been granted yet!

More on that in the future but I have to say that this was one of the best experiences I have had so far with using my gifts for good and blessing others in the process! I hope these photos will be a sweet reminder of our time together and your families and your children will be in my heart and prayer for a lifetime!

{Boot Campaign}

My latest photo shoot was in collaboration with the Boot Campaign an amazing non profit that encourages everyone to "Get their boots on" providing an easy and tangible way for Americans to show appreciation for our troops, cultivate awareness of the challenges they face upon return and raise funds for military programs meeting the physical and emotional needs of our heros.

In preparation for their upcoming event in San Diego event I had the pleasure of working with their Corporate Partners based here in San Diego

Char and Andrew are both Co-Hosting this years 2nd Annual Boots On San Diego Event taking place on March 23rd at San Diego Harley Davidson (5600 Kearny Mesa Blvd, San Diego)

This promises to be a great event so please come out and support our nation's military service members, veterans, and their families!

The second half of my shoot was with Boot Campaign Support Travis Fishburn!

All the shots were taken in and around San Diego, Char and Andrew's capturing the beautiful San Diego Skyline and Travis' with a more edgy and colorful feel to match his one of a kind personality.

Thank you so much to the Boot Campaign for giving me the opportunity to work with you and I am looking forward to getting my boots on for the upcoming events!!

{San Diego Family Photography~ Balboa Park}

This shoot is one of those times when you just look back on how far you have come and say, I have to give God the credit for the blessings of being able to be a part of so many amazing families lives!

Being able to do what I do never ever gets old and I do not take it for granted!!

I have shot at Balboa Park countless times and for that I am extremely grateful for that!

People come from literally all over the world just to catch a glimpse of the beautiful architecture and landscapes that we here in San Diego can take advantage of all the time!

This family is ending a chapter here in San Diego and so that is why this shoot is so special and therefore; the Iconic Balboa Park!

I love every bit of this session as Hayley is not only a dear friend but also extremely creative and talented in her own right so she was just amazing to work with and I have to say this was more her vision than mine with every detail of this shoot!

She made my job so easy that I truly loved every second of this process and the final results speak for themselves!

My hope is that this family will look upon these photos with fond memories and that their time in San Diego will be a chapter that is only the beginning

of all the great things to come for them!
