{San Diego Engagement Photography ~ Sunset Cliffs}

I had the privilege of doing an engagement photo shoot with this lovely couple and at one of my favorite locations; Sunset Cliffs. I love all the shots and emotion that we captured between these two who told me over and over they were not good at being photographed! I think these images tell a different story and they did an amazing job and were so fun to work with. These are some of my favorite couples shots I have done in recent memory and the ones you see from above were captured by me hovering precariously on a piece of driftwood over the top of them! {20 Year Anniversary at the Hotel Del~ Coronado Island Photography}

~20 Years Together~

Alan and Carrie have been married 20 Years which is a pretty amazing milestone that I had the privilege to capture for them. Alan and Carrie reside in Arizona and every year they vacation at The Hotel Del in Coronado where they originally honeymooned to celebrate! That is where I come in;) Last year I was doing a photo shoot in Coronado and a couple comes by on their beach cruisers and asks if I have a card which unlike usual I did;) Fast forward to this year I get a call and schedule their shoot knowing they are from out of town but it wasn't until after we were done that I asked how they found me to do their session and we connected the dots that they were 'that couple'; and we all had a really good laugh and it made for a great story! 

They also shared that when they were married all those years ago their photographer who shot their wedding took the money bolted and they never received any images of they're wedding day! 

{GASP...Can you even imagine...}

So needless to say this was a very special and meaningful shoot for so many reasons not the least of which is that this couple is so sweet and amazing and have stood by each other for 20 years.
