{Mayor of San Diego ~ Bob Filner}

I had the opportunity to work with the Mayor of San Diego Bob Filner this past week in collaboration with the Boot Campaign as their newest Hero Ambassador! 

Mayor Filner has given a tremendous amount of support to our troops and programs like the Boot Campaign that provide support to our troops and their families who give and sacrifice so much to protect our country. 

We conducted this shoot in less than 10 min as the Mayor is extremely busy and I think we got a wonderful representation of him in his element with his boots on!!

{Andrew Baldwin ~ Former Bachelor, Philanthropist and Boot Ambassador!}

 I had a really fun opportunity this past weekend to do an at home photo shoot with Andrew Baldwin ~ 2007 Bachelor "Officer and a Gentleman" as some of you fans may remember! ♥ 
Lieutenant Commander Andrew Baldwin M.D. is board-certified in family medicine, and is a U.S. Navy Physician.
Andrew is also an amazing Triathlete, competing in numerous Half-Ironmans and 8 time Ironman finisher. But his latest Philanthropic efforts include his nonprofit organization "The Got Your Back Network" that raises money to support the families of the service men and women who gave their lives while serving their country.
Now he can add 'Boot Ambassador' to his amazing resume! Andy agreed to allow us into his home to capture him with his "Boots On!" in support of the Boot Campaign!

{Boot Campaign}

My latest photo shoot was in collaboration with the Boot Campaign an amazing non profit that encourages everyone to "Get their boots on" providing an easy and tangible way for Americans to show appreciation for our troops, cultivate awareness of the challenges they face upon return and raise funds for military programs meeting the physical and emotional needs of our heros.

In preparation for their upcoming event in San Diego event I had the pleasure of working with their Corporate Partners based here in San Diego

Char and Andrew are both Co-Hosting this years 2nd Annual Boots On San Diego Event taking place on March 23rd at San Diego Harley Davidson (5600 Kearny Mesa Blvd, San Diego) 

This promises to be a great event so please come out and support our nation's military service members, veterans, and their families! 

The second half of my shoot was with Boot Campaign Support Travis Fishburn! 

All the shots were taken in and around San Diego, Char and Andrew's capturing the beautiful San Diego Skyline and Travis' with a more edgy and colorful feel to match his one of a kind personality.

{Crown & Crown of Pacific Sotheby's Realty}

This photo shoot was for Crown & Crown of Pacific Sotheby's Realty which we shot at the beautiful Lowe's Coronado Bay Resort. The team of Crown & Crown is made up of Sharyn Crown, her daughter Victoria Crown, and soon to be son in law Mark Crigler.  

When I originally spoke with Sharyn about the concept of this shoot they were working hard to establish a new look for their Realty Business and needed updated head shots for all of them that would match the luxury market that they cater to everyday for their exclusive clients. 

The process to find the perfect location and feel was extensive and as a business owner myself I know just how important each aspect of 'branding' your business is. In this internet driven time your clients are mostly interacting with you first and foremost through your website and your first impression can either draw them in or turn them away with the click of a button. That said, a lot is on the line and in the end this shoot was worth all the time and effort because I feel we walked away with a great new set of business head shots which reflect exactly what we all set out for!! 

It was an absolute pleasure to work with the Crown's and I want to thank especially Sharyn who had so much confidence in my ability from the start and choose me to help with such an important and part of their new brand. All the best to all of you!

{Special Feature~Jessica of J Hill Interior Designs}

 One of my goals this year was to feature other small business owners who inspire and encourage me! When you are starting your business from scratch it is fellow friends/business owners who can relate to the countless hours that must be invested to develop your brand. I have had the pleasure of watching Jes begin her business to becoming a sought after designer. 

This was such a pleasure for me to capture Jessica in a way that conveys her amazing and colorful personality and give her some up to date head shots as she takes her small business to the next level.

{Melissa Goad~Head shots}

I must say working with an aspiring actress is great fun and makes my job really easy when someone so comfortable in front of the camera:) Melissa contacted me for head shots and although I had done some children's in the past this was my first adult shoot. Melissa is clearly a natural beauty and such a sweet girl so we had a lot of fun capturing what I think convey's her 'girl next door' appeal. Much love and success to Melissa and her budding acting career!
