{San Diego Family Photography~Cole and Quinn}

I fall in love with every shoot I do. Working with the families to style and pick locations,  scouting out new a fun places to create the perfect backdrop for their special day, and of course the cuteness of children on the day of dressed up in holiday finery, perfectly polished and clean faced. In this case that is how they arrived and for a short time that is how they stayed... But I have to say I love a mama who wants both sides of her children, the pictures you can hang for all the marvel at how perfect your children must be and then the shots I love the most, the real ones. So when the lollipops came out and the faces became smudged with layers of colorful sugar we did what any fun loving family photo shoot would do~ Through them on amusement park rides with lolli's in hand and then have them romp in the ocean to clean up after! These two were tons of fun and mommy and daddy were equally amazing. Thank you so much Kelly family for allowing me to capture just how beautiful you are inside and out!

I adore this shot of these two <3

Quinny

Cole

Look at those eyes, so handsome!

Now the fun begins!! Amusement park rides and lollipops!

The little heart on the bottom of the sparkly silver shoes~ priceless.

At sunset and still enjoying the lolli's!

Cole was so excited to go in the water

Quinn, not so much :)

This made my day. Thanks Kelly Family for being so amazing!

{Paisley Chief Pinning Ceremony}

This was a very special shoot for me. Jessica had originally contacted me about a homecoming photo shoot but as most homecomings go it was not at an opportune time so we planned on regrouping in the future. Fortunately for us another big milestone was waiting just around the corner for the Paisley Family. Mike had been selected for Chief and after the process as a selectee would be the Pinning Ceremony! This was my first Pinning and it was really amazing to witness such a special occasion for so many that day. I love so many things about being blessed to be a part of a military community and those you meet are more like family than friends. Thank you so much to Jessica and Mike for allowing me to capture this very special day in your lives!

{Kim and Connor~Maternity}

Kim had approached me about doing maternity pics and our initial idea was a dreamy field setting which in Indiana where I am from we could have gone to any number of locations and found a grassy field but here in San Diego; not so much. Grassy fields are hard to come by so we continue to search for the perfect location and literally on the same day we messaged each other the exact same place, Summer's Past :) We had such a fun time walking the grounds and capturing these 'dreamy' shots and also whenever Connor felt like joining us we would snap a few of him as well! Thanks to Kim for allowing me to capture these very special moments for their family and I cannot wait to meet Abigail Gray!!
Two of my favorites <3
Love the color and the shot on the botton right was totally spur of the moment and I love the angel

Blue door was a great find!
Love this little guy, how precious is he...
We used some of Abigail's booties and Connor was so helpful putting them on the belly!;)
Lots of flowers in bloom, perfect backdrop
Loved this little bridge and the close up of the belly!

{50 Years Together~ Anniversary Luau}

The Robertson family contacted me about photographing a very special occasion at the Kona Kai Resort in Point Loma. Karen's Mother and Father were celebrating 50 years together and although Hawaii would have been ideal they decided on a more reasonable trip down the street to a festive Luau:) The family was adorable in their Hawaiian shirts and outfits and it was a pleasure to capture this special time for them!

The Family all together!

The grandchildren:)

The Happy Couple

The two little guys are cousins very close in age, how cute are they! So sweet.

Brother and Sister:)

These two are brothers:)

I love this picture. Getting older has its advantages:)

50 Years Together <3

{Melissa Goad~Head shots}

I must say working with an aspiring actress is great fun and makes my job really easy when someone so comfortable in front of the camera:) Melissa contacted me for head shots and although I had done some children's in the past this was my first adult shoot. Melissa is clearly a natural beauty and such a sweet girl so we had a lot of fun capturing what I think convey's her 'girl next door' appeal. Much love and success to Melissa and her budding acting career!

This was Melissa's Favorite:)
