This family session was nothing short of magical. We booked the session just two days before the actual shoot I believe and I asked them to meet close to my home at a location that I just love! They all arrived looking fabulous and everything seamlessly fell into place! The genuine and heartfelt bond of this family shines though in every shot. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of some truly special and amazing moments of your gorgeous family! Enjoy!

{20 Year Anniversary at the Hotel Del~ Coronado Island Photography}
~20 Years Together~
Alan and Carrie have been married 20 Years which is a pretty amazing milestone that I had the privilege to capture for them. Alan and Carrie reside in Arizona and every year they vacation at The Hotel Del in Coronado where they originally honeymooned to celebrate! That is where I come in;) Last year I was doing a photo shoot in Coronado and a couple comes by on their beach cruisers and asks if I have a card which unlike usual I did;) Fast forward to this year I get a call and schedule their shoot knowing they are from out of town but it wasn't until after we were done that I asked how they found me to do their session and we connected the dots that they were 'that couple'; and we all had a really good laugh and it made for a great story!
They also shared that when they were married all those years ago their photographer who shot their wedding took the money bolted and they never received any images of they're wedding day!
{GASP...Can you even imagine...}
So needless to say this was a very special and meaningful shoot for so many reasons not the least of which is that this couple is so sweet and amazing and have stood by each other for 20 years.
All the best to you both and here is to 20 more years of love, health, and happiness!
{Nichole and Jack~Coronado Family Photography}
I have to say that I feel like sometimes our life experiences draw us and connect us to people in a deeper way. Nichole has got to be one of the most selfless, giving, and kind people I have ever met. She is also a single mother raising an amazing little guy which I have no words to say how much I admire her for what a great mother she is. I have a soft spot for Single Mother's because I can relate to how challenging and at times overwhelming it can be to raise children on your own. My time as a single mother was very complex in so many ways and keeping the balance of everything while facing stressors and providing for your child not only financially but being strong for them mentally, physically, and emotionally can never be explained unless you have been their.
All that to say, Nichole has been by far the most amazing examples of strength, grace, and resolve to provide an exceptionally well balanced life for Jack. She is always putting him first and all the while pursuing her degree; taking on a full college course load, and maintaing a stellar GPA to establish an even brighter future.
I can not express how proud I am to call Nichole a friend. Her southern charm, infectious smile, and joy for life as well as Jack's come through in these photos that we got a chance to do when she came back to San Diego! It was wonderful to capture these moments with you both!
{Crown & Crown of Pacific Sotheby's Realty}
This photo shoot was for Crown & Crown of Pacific Sotheby's Realty which we shot at the beautiful Lowe's Coronado Bay Resort. The team of Crown & Crown is made up of Sharyn Crown, her daughter Victoria Crown, and soon to be son in law Mark Crigler.
When I originally spoke with Sharyn about the concept of this shoot they were working hard to establish a new look for their Realty Business and needed updated head shots for all of them that would match the luxury market that they cater to everyday for their exclusive clients.
The process to find the perfect location and feel was extensive and as a business owner myself I know just how important each aspect of 'branding' your business is. In this internet driven time your clients are mostly interacting with you first and foremost through your website and your first impression can either draw them in or turn them away with the click of a button. That said, a lot is on the line and in the end this shoot was worth all the time and effort because I feel we walked away with a great new set of business head shots which reflect exactly what we all set out for!!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with the Crown's and I want to thank especially Sharyn who had so much confidence in my ability from the start and choose me to help with such an important and part of their new brand. All the best to all of you!

{Harmon Family~La Jolla Family Photography}
This session was so many things rolled up into one! It was the end of a military carrier for Willie who was on his way out to the Navy, the day before a big move to begin a new life in their home state of Tennessee, and somewhat of a family reunion with Willie's Mother and Father attending his retirement ceremony and Crystal's Father as well!! We met in beautiful La Jolla in Kellogg Park and got some wonderful shots of this family immediate and extended. Needless to say their is a rich military tradition and with Willie's Father all decked out it was a very special day that I was fortunate to be a part of and capture some great memories for all!
Thank you Harmon family for your years of service and much success in your new ventures!
